Coenzyme Q10 is an essential building block for our cells; it acts as an antioxidant and plays a role in energy production in our mitochondria.
This coenzyme Q10 is a liquid, dissolved in olive oil with added tocotrienol antioxidant. That’s a clever solution.
- The oil and its antioxidants protect the Contents
- There is a scientific study which confirms that the bioavailability of coenzyme Q10 is significantly improved in olive oil
- Because the antioxidants already convert a large proportion of coenzyme Q10 (ubidecarenone) into ubiquinol.
We recommend taking 2.5 ml of this daily (a measuring cup is included). This amount is roughly equivalent to one teaspoon. If you require a higher dose, and of course if prescribed by a doctor, the standard daily dose may safely be doubled.
Nutritional information for this recommended daily intake:
100 mg coenzyme Q10
52 mg tocotrienols
14 mg vitamin E as a-tocopherol (122% NRV*)
2.3 g olive oil (organic extra virgin)
*=% der Nährstoffbezugswerte
The bottle contains 100 ml, which is enough for 40 daily recommended doses (almost 6 weeks).
Recommended intake: Take 1 teaspoon daily with a meal (use the measuring cup to measure out 2.5 ml). It is advisable to swish the contents around in your mouth before swallowing, as the valuable antioxidants are beneficial for your gums.
Ingredients: Olive oil (extra virgin, certified organic), natural tocotrienol-tocopherol from a plant source, coenzyme Q10 (Kaneka ubidecarenone)
Olive oil: We use top-quality extra virgin olive oil. Olive oil naturally contains valuable compounds, in particular oleocanthal, oleoropin and vitamin E. Incidentally, the olive oil is from certified organic cultivation, although we are unable to label it as such due to its high vitamin content.
Please note that the 40 daily doses of coenzyme Q10, combined with our high-quality tocotrienols, are very good value for money. The 2.5 ml contain 100 mg of CoQ10 as well as 52 mg of tocotrienol, which is equivalent to approximately 5 drops of Tocomin(r).
What does ubiquinone and ubiquinol mean?
Coenzyme Q10 is constantly being converted back and forth between ubiquinone and ubiquinol in the body, thereby fulfilling its role as an electron carrier. Ubiquinol is the reduced form; it is often referred to in advertising as the ‘active’ form (though this is only half the truth). Attempts are made to encapsulate the much more expensive and sensitive ubiquinol, but this gradually oxidises on its own and slowly turns into ubiquinone. We take the opposite approach. High-quality Kaneka ubiquinone (= ubidecarenone) is combined with antioxidants and, as a result, naturally converts itself in parts into ubiquinol.
Tip: Add other liquid vitamins in drop form to the measuring cup or teaspoon. For example, vitamin K2 (MK4), vitamin D3, tocotrienols and geranylgeraniol. This way, you can take everything in one go.
We consider the combination of Q10Olive with GG+T3 Orellana to be particularly beneficial, as the tocotrienols in it complement each other wonderfully and because GG also promotes energy production in the mitochondria.
Both Q10 and GG are recommended to counteract the side effects of cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins), particularly muscular symptoms.
