Vitamin B complex - for energy
The B vitamins are primarily required to obtain usable energy from food. Carbohydrates in particular must be converted into a usable form (acetyl CoA) in a complicated process (PDH, pyruvate dehydrogenase complex) with B vitamins. Coenzyme Q10 is again required for the subsequent generation of ATP, for which the mitochondria also require B vitamins (as well as GG geranylgeraniol).
