Skin ages because its cells age or die due to UV light, pollutants (microplastics, particulate matter) or free radicals and are therefore no longer able to produce collagen. Tocotrienols, which act against these harmful influences in the cell membranes, counteract this.

After that, they become senescent, which causes them to significantly reduce their vital functions and ultimately die off. At a young age, a new generation of cells is always ready. However, as the counter draws to a close, the lack of replacement cells becomes noticeable. 

If only these counters could be turned back again. This is actually possible, namely through telomerase, which can turn back the age counter.
