Shipping to Switzerland (and NO and UK) now without customs duties

Here is some good news for all people from Switzerland, Norway and UK: We now ship with customs  prepaid.

Until now, it has been quite favourable to buy from TRICUTIS, but  customs duties (import sales tax and handling fees) were incurred afterwards. This has now come to an end. From now on we offer shipping to these countries pre-customs cleared and taxed.

If you are logged in with a Swiss or annother non-EU registration, or if you have entered a Non-EU country of delivery, you will already see the much more favourable net prices in the shop - i.e. the prices without the German VAT.

If you send to Switzerland then you only pay 8.1% for the Swiss VAT - via an extra item on the invoice.  If you are delivering to an address in Germany, this will of course not apply and everything will continue as before.
In Norway or UK, the respective import VAT applies.

Small disadvantage: Shipments to Non-EU-Countries may not exceed EUR 800 in value (otherwise we would need an export pre-declaration). If you want to buy more than EUR 800, please split your order into two or more parcels.

This is done via a DHL service called PDDP. We pay your taxes and the handling fee in advance. Nevertheless, you benefit from the same favourable prices as in Germany (and the EU). You can recognise this by the PDDP logo on the parcel.

We no longer ship to the USA, due to the confusing and unfavourable customs regulations.

Here is some further information for countries with very high VAT rates. When delivering to these countries, we are required to pay this high VAT to your country and consequently receive less for our goods. To offset the high VAT, we apply a small shipping surcharge for deliveries to certain countries.
This amounts to
Denmark, Sweden, Hungary +7%
Greece, Croatia, Poland, Portugal +5%

For Switzerland, the surcharge is +8.1%, but this actually represents a price reduction, as German VAT (19%), Swiss import sales tax (8.1%) and customs duties will no longer be charged.
In Norway and the United Kingdom, the surcharge is equal to the rate of the prepaid VAT (25% or 20%).

We hope to offer a very cost-effective solution for shipping and taxes across all countries by this.
