Akkermansia muciniphila is a bacterium naturally present in the human gut.
It plays an essential role in maintaining the integrity of the intestinal villi mucosa (‘mucus’), where it actively stimulates mucin synthesis and also produces a profile of anti-inflammatory cytokines.

Pasteurised Akkermansia muciniphila culture: 2 × 10⁹ cells (2 billion)
Capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (vegan)
Excipient: microcrystalline cellulose (up to 500 mg)
